Hollowreach Expedition

Hollowreach Expedition is all about mood. You wander through crumbling ruins and shadowy caves, solving light environmental puzzles and slowly piecing together what happened here. There's no rush, and the ambient soundtrack does a lot of the heavy lifting.

Movement uses a virtual stick with a tap-to-interact system, and it feels natural once you settle in. Interaction prompts are large and clear, so you rarely miss what you're aiming at. Loading between areas is quick, which keeps the atmosphere from breaking.

It's moderately demanding thanks to the lighting effects, so expect a warm phone and steady battery drain on long walks. Still, for anyone who likes exploration over action, it's a lovely thing to lose an evening in.
