Casinacho Games

★★★★☆ 4.3 Editor rating

Casinacho Games is a bundle of short, colorful mini games wrapped in one app, and the appeal is that you never commit to more than a couple of minutes at a time. You tap through a menu, pick whichever little challenge fits your mood, and jump straight in. It's the kind of thing I ended up opening in a queue at the post office without even thinking about it.

Controls are entirely touch-based and lean, mostly single taps and the occasional drag. On my mid-range phone everything responded cleanly with no lag, and the interface leaves plenty of room around the action so your thumbs don't cover what matters. Battery drain is modest since the visuals are simple, and it barely warms the device even after a long stretch.

What I liked most is how gentle the pacing is. There's no pressure and no timers screaming at you, just a steady set of small activities you can dip into. The settings menu is refreshingly clear, letting you mute sound and adjust brightness without hunting. It won't be your main game, but as a filler it does its job well.
